DAN SWAN Withdraws As MEMORY GARDEN Producer, Continues Work On NIGHTINGALE's Next CD
April 14, 2002Sweden's multi-talented songwriter/singer/producer Dan Swan has decided to withdraw as producer from the forthcoming MEMORY GARDEN album, according to Swan's latest official statement. I just didn't think clearly when I accepted this mission and after many months of nothingness and a few days of intense soul searching, I found the only solution..to let them carry on without me, Dan said. The songs we did together could have turned out great, but I always felt that we could do better. Every time I returned to the material after a little break, there were many details I wanted to improvebut working together with a band is always harder than to be a solo artist. I just don't have the time!!!
In other news, Swan's NIGHTINGALE project will enter Soundlab studios (owned by NASUM guitarist Mieszko) on May 3rd to begin work on their new CD, entitled Alive Again, which is due before the end of the year. Says Dan, [the album] will kick off with the last part of the Alive Again track previewed on The Closing Chronicles, followed by some 40 minutes of NIGHTINGALE magic!!!
